Mediator Background

Brian Mooney has mediated over a thousand securities litigation cases and other commercial litigation matters since 2000. His extensive litigation background, coupled with his analytical approach to settlement negotiations, has proven exceptionally effective in helping litigants resolve cases.
His practice is based in Tampa, Florida. However, because of the high demand for Mr. Mooney's services, he has been hired to mediate cases across the United States, handling cases pending in Federal and State courts, as well as in the FINRA, AAA and other arbitration forums.
He is also proficient in managing mediations by teleconference when that is the interface chosen by the parties. Having conducted numerous mediations via Zoom, he has demonstrated a sound ability to smoothly administer a mediation on-line.
Mr. Mooney is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He is also on the national roster of mediators for both FINRA and the AAA. He is a certified mediator for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He has been named a SuperLawyer since 2016.
